Cockpit-style RB3362 frames use a 140mm metal temple arm, matched to the model's aviator front. A compatible replacement needs to hold that length precisely, since the Cockpit's distinctive front styling makes an uneven arm stand out more than it would on a plainer aviator shape.

As with other thin metal aviator temples, the hinge screw on the RB3362 tends to loosen with repeated folding well before the arm itself is visibly damaged. A little play at the pivot is usually the first sign it's time for a replacement. A compatible aftermarket arm at the correct 140mm length fixes that looseness directly, with no need to touch the front or lenses. It's worth checking the rest of the front hardware too, since screws elsewhere on the frame can loosen around the same time as the temple hinge on a well-used pair.
