Sometimes the frame is the part worth replacing. These are 12 complete SR frames at €68.60, our own brand, built in classic shapes and ready to take to your optician for prescription lenses, or to fit with a clear CR39 lens.

The line-up runs from the round metal SR3447, in Legend Gold, Black, Gunmetal, Matte Gold and Gold, to the acetate SR4068 in Black, Light Havana and Havana. The SR3025 Aviator comes in Silver and Gold, and the SR4105 Folding, in Black and Matte Black, collapses to pocket size.

How to choose the right frame

• Work from the measurements of a frame that already suits you: eye size, bridge and temple length in mm. Those figures beat judging a shape on screen.
• Match the material to the lens you plan to fit: CR39 is the standard for clear and prescription lenses, as the CR39 and polycarbonate comparison explains.
• Metal or acetate is a fit decision as much as a style one: metal adjusts at the pads and weighs less, acetate holds its shape under a strong prescription.

Can my optician fit my prescription in these frames?

Yes, that is what they are built for. They arrive as complete frames with a plain demo lens, and any optician can edge and mount your prescription as usual.

Do they come with prescription lenses?

The frames ship ready for glazing, with a plain lens fitted to protect the rims in transit. Your prescription goes in afterwards, at your optician or here with a clear CR39 lens.

Are these Ray-Ban or Oakley frames?

These are SR frames, our own brand, designed and produced for us in classic shapes. They are not made by, or affiliated with, any other eyewear brand.

What treatments can I add to a clear lens?

CR39 is included; an anti-reflective and hardened treatment adds €8, and a blue-light filter with UV protection in polycarbonate adds €10.

What if the frame does not suit me?

Return it within 14 days. Every frame carries a three-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
