These Ray-Ban RW4012 Replacement Lenses are aftermarket lenses made for the Meta Wayfarer Gen 2 frame. The second-generation Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer comes in two widths, so this listing covers both: choose 50 mm or 53 mm in the size selector. Both share the same squared-off outline, so the only thing to confirm is the number printed on your frame.
Ray-Ban RW4012 Replacement Lenses: fit and measurements
Square lenses have corners, and that is where a poor cut shows first: a gap at the rim or a lens that will not seat. Before ordering, compare the size printed on the inside of your temple with the size on this page, because the RW4012 is sold by that number.
Lens material, colours and coatings
Tinted lenses are polycarbonate with a Base 6 curve and UV400 protection, in the tint you select here; clear lenses are CR39 or polycarbonate, depending on the coating. Grey changes colours the least, green stays close to natural and brown gives a warmer, higher-contrast view. Gradient lenses fade from dark to light, mirror lenses add a reflective front, and clear lenses are there for indoor wear. Coating options are listed below the colours.
Why change the lenses and keep the frame
Changing the lenses means you keep the frame you already own, along with its camera and electronics. It is also a way to change the look or the tint without replacing the glasses. We have more models in our Ray-Ban replacement lenses section if you own another pair.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know this is my model?
Look at the inside of the temple, where the model code and size are printed. It should read RW4012. If it shows another code, look for that model in the shop or write to us before ordering.
Are these made by Ray-Ban or Meta?
No. They are aftermarket lenses, independently made to fit the RW4012. They are not produced or endorsed by Ray-Ban or Meta.
What warranty and returns do I get?
You have a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects and 14 days to return the lenses.
Can I fit them myself?
Many people do, but if you are not comfortable working on a frame with electronics inside, ask an optician to do it. Go slowly and do not force the frame or apply heat.
Is a pair included, or a single lens?
A pair: one left lens and one right lens, in the tint you select.
