These Ray-Ban RW4008 Replacement Lenses are aftermarket lenses made for the Meta frame. The RW4008 is the larger square Ray-Ban Meta shape, and its lenses are not interchangeable with the narrower models. This set is cut to its own measurements: 53 mm wide and 44 mm high, which gives more lens area than the 50 mm versions.

Square lenses have corners, and that is where a poor cut shows first: a gap at the rim or a lens that will not seat. Before ordering, compare the size printed on the inside of your temple with the size on this page, because the RW4008 is sold by that number.

Lens material, colours and coatings

Tinted lenses are polycarbonate, curved to Base 6, with UV400 protection; clear lenses are CR39 or polycarbonate, depending on the coating. Choose your tint on this page and preview it on the frame. Green keeps colours close to natural, grey is the most neutral, and brown adds warmth and contrast. Gradients are darker at the top and lighter below, mirrors add a reflective finish on the front, and clear suits indoor use. Optional coatings appear under the colour selector.

Why change the lenses and keep the frame

Frequently asked questions

Do the smart features depend on the lens?

The camera and LED sit in the frame, not in the lens, and we only supply the lenses. Be careful with the frame while changing them, because it carries the electronics, and never heat it.

Are these made by Ray-Ban or Meta?

No. They are aftermarket lenses, independently made to fit the RW4008. They are not produced or endorsed by Ray-Ban or Meta.

Can I fit them myself?

Many people do, but if you are not comfortable working on a frame with electronics inside, ask an optician to do it. Go slowly and do not force the frame or apply heat.

What warranty and returns do I get?

You have a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects and 14 days to return the lenses.

How do I know this is my model?

Look at the inside of the temple, where the model code and size are printed. It should read RW4008. If it shows another code, look for that model in the shop or write to us before ordering.
